“Basel is hosting Sevilla for the EL. Usually they’re able to give teams a hard time in the Champions League, but this year they didn’t make the cut. After kicking St. Etienne out over 2 matches with a 4-4 aggregate score and the winning goal in the 92nd minute they are now playing a team that hasn’t won a single away match this season other than for the copa del rey. Basel at home is a strong team, last time they’ve lost in any competition was 6 home games ago against Grasshoppers. At the moment they’re leading the Super League with a 14 point difference on the number two. Sevilla is 5th in the Spanish league at the moment and reached this, as I mentioned before, without winning any away game. In the last round they won from Molde with 3-1 on aggregate. Looking at Sevilla at home, they’re incredibly strong. They were able to beat Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Gladbach. This are just home games. Once they play anywhere else they look insecure and uninspired. I expect this to be the case again against a strong Basel and believe the odds are too high for a double chance.
