Manchester United – Manchester City Premier League Match Preview 12/04/15
United face their city rivals on Sunday above them for the first time all season and in far better shape than Manuel Pellegrini’s men, who lost their chances of retaining their title on Monday night against Palace. Despite a season long campaign of criticism they have received United have won more points at home in the Premier League than any other team. City though, have won the last four meetings between the sides, as well as the last three at Old Trafford, but look way short of their best and do seem like the underdogs in this one. Robin van Persie has been declared fit for action following a return to training this week but he is unlikely to return to a side in such fine form, as should Di Maria and Falcao, with Ashley Young on in his place. Manuel Pellegrini has been fortunate with injuries of late, with Wilfried Bony the only absentee in the defeat to Palace but he should be back in contention in this one alongside Aguero.

BetAdvisor Top Tips:
A top football tipster would suggest that Man Utd, who have won 10 of their last 11 home matches in the Premier League and considering that City have lost with a 1 goal margin in their last 3 away matches in the Premier League, whould be a 1 goal winner.
The best football prediction though, would take into consideration that Utd have scored at least 2 goals in 9 of their last 10 home matches in the Premier League and there have been over 2.5 goals scored in 8 of Man Utd’s last 10 home games so an Over 2.5 would also be a good one.
