Yankees & Twins square off for 6th and last American League game tomorrow evening. So far it’s been all but once a bitter affair for Minnesota and I don’t see much changing in both Big Apple games next. Yes, that means by the time of my 6th game preview, the 5th one still won’t be decided so it’s a big ask to handicap without all the important info in front of you but hey, capping Baseball is not an easy task anyway! OK, so what’s important to know is that a wild-card contender Minnesota face a tough task against a 65-52 hitting especially well at home Yankees team and since the away stats are not positive for them beyond the 2nd travelling I don’t expect positive results for the visitors in the next two games anyway. No, I expect two more Yankees win to follow, a close one and one comfortable at the end of the Series. NYY-1 doesn’t make enough appeal to me but in all honesty I’m not a big fan of the Spread, preferring to focus on the Totals instead. So we’ll cross our fingers for either team good hitting % or bad pitching performance. And eyeing the closing Series game on Wednesday evening we compare both the starting pitchers. Ervin Santana(2-3) is set to start for The Twins with 5. 66ERA and 1. 47WHIP this season against Nathan Eovaldi(12-2) for The Yankees with 4. 26ERA and 1. 49WHIP. Digging deep into the Santana last 3 starts(10. 05ERA/2. 163WHIP) & his Road starts(3. 66ERA/1. 156WHIP) makes me feel comfortable in terms of higher hitting % expected. Eovaldi is not that solid either, so I believe we’ll witness some early scorings. Add to that the bullpen of both clubs plus the Yankees solid hitting record at home and we have a nice potentially cashing Over on our plate.” Click HERE to get the free tip on the match]]>
