This weekends Serie A – With Mikael Delius

Roma vs Cesena. Roma have been in really good form lately and they are doing very well in both Serie A and Coppa Italia. Counting the match against Fiorentina in the Italian cup they are on a run of 5 games without a loss. They are ranked 7th and look to get as near as possible to the top 4 positions. They are strong at home too. Cesena ranked 18th are targetting the safe zone for the moment and they play for survival. Unless an early goal is scored by the visitors I see the home win as a really good option here. Atalanta vs Juventus. Atalanta is a really strong team at home and only Milan managed to get all three points there.  Atalanta faced difficult games lately and this one wont be an easy game either. Juventus failed to get full points against Cagliari at home last week and looks like they have found it hard to score in recent matches. I think that Atalanta will not leave without any points here and in my opinion Juventus will face their first defeat. Bologna vs Parma. Home team is ranked 16th but their home record is not that good. They managed to draw against Napoli on Monday match and they showed really good football. Parma have not been a convincing team over the last few games . I think that this game is likely to end up in a draw with many goals considering that both teams concede too much. Lecce vs Chievo. Lecce are in the relegation zone but have played some really good games recently. They managed to get a point against the leaders of Juventus and full points against Fiorentina. Chievo is a brilliant team at home but away they just don’t score enough. These teams don’t have strong attacks and the best choice here in my opinion is under 2.5 but a home win pays well too. Palermo vs Genoa. Palermo not on top in the last 5 games where they have managed to get only 1 point. They have a good home record but in the last games they have lost twice there. Genoa might be tired after the midweek game for the Cup. I think that this game will end up in a draw. Cagliari vs Fiorentina. Home team of Cagliari have proven to be a really strong opponent to big teams this year and it was proven again in the game against Juventus. Fiorentina stumbled in a home defeat against lecce and will look to regain faith. I think that in terms of motivation Cagliari is favored but I think that a draw will all what the teams will get after this match. Udinese vs Catania. Udinese probably the strongest tam at home with only 2 points lost in 9 games. I think that their performance is really good at home and that this will continue. Catania is not  a team that gets full points away but they have managed to get 5D. Home win here with a AH -0.75 or -1 .   Novara vs Milan. These teams faced each other in midweek and despite Milans qualification, the 90minutes ended in a draw. The Milan line up was not the top eleven but after the lost derby we might see some changes in the initial lineup. I think that Milan will not drop any points here and will win by a margin. Siena vs Napoli. Siena lost their last game against Parma and now are 17th, near the relegation zone, they lost away but at home they are really strong and with what I saw in the match of Napoli vs Bologna, I doubt that Napoli will have it easy against Siena. I think that this game will be and over 2.5 and might end in a draw. Inter vs Lazio. Inter did a great comeback in the league and now going for the title. Their next target is to surpass Lazio that are currently 4th . Inter won the derby but lost out in terms of ball possession. Lazio faced their first defeat away against Siena but with the win over Atalanta they got their morale up. This match will be a really good one to watch . Inter look favored but in my opinion their winning run will end as the game might end up in a draw.]]>
