“Los Rojiblancos have struggled for goals of late, but their hopes to see a change when league action resumes for them this Sunday. Luciano Vietto is confident the goals will soon be flowing for Atletico Madrid as they resume La Liga duties with a trip to Real Betis on Sunday. The concern has been highlighted by the fact that top league scorer Antoine Griezmann has found the net just once on the road this term. Goalscoring concerns may be a priority for Simeone to resolve but Atletico have been given a boost in defence with the return of Jose Gimenez, who has been given the medical all-clear following a thigh injury. Uruguay centre-back Diego Godin is also back in training after international duty, but Jackson Martinez is unlikely to feature while Juanfran will not be risked. Betis manager, Pepe Mel, confirmed that Juan Vargas and Vincenzo Rennella are out, though he hopes to have Dani Ceballos fit. Overall both teams seems to struggle to find goals, as Betis is one of the worst side in La Liga, especially when they are playing at home where they manage to lose all of their last 3 meetings against teams that are rated lower than Atletico Madrid, they lost 2-1 against Deportivo, 3-1 against Espanyol and 3-1 against Bilbao wich show that defence of Betis does not work too good at home. On other side Atletico is one of the best teams away from home, wich just 2 goals received in 5 meetings and scoring 8 times, however from this team is expected even more and I think that team is motivated against Betis this Sunday.”
